Abstract

This study aims to describe teacher creativity in increasing learning enthusiasm in Christian Religious Education (PAK) at SDN 1 Tangki Dahuyan Village. The background of this research is the low learning enthusiasm of students, characterized by a lack of attention, participation, and enthusiasm during lessons. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of one PAK teacher and eleven students from both lower and upper grades. The results showed that the teacher implemented various forms of creativity, such as using storytelling methods, singing spiritual songs, watching Bible videos, and drawing faith stories. The teacher also created an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere by providing motivation, rewards, and the application of simple yet meaningful learning media. Through these strategies, students showed an increase in enthusiasm, the courage to ask questions, and active participation in learning activities. In conclusion, teacher creativity plays a vital role in building an inspiring learning atmosphere and fostering students' learning enthusiasm in PAK subjects at the elementary school level.
